AT NORTHSHORE TECHNICAL COLLEGE (SULLIVAN CAMPUS) IN BOGALUSA OR WASHINGTON PARISH COURT HOUSE IN FRANKLINTON, LA. SO FAR U WILL BE VOTING ON BOGALUSA CITY COUNCILMAN AT LARGE RUN OFF AND A TAX RENEWAL.  

 

NOTICE TO EVENT PLANNERS- Planning a event in 2023?  Need a event banner to promote your next event. You may purchase banners for your next event from us and not only will we make your banner but also promote you family friendly event across all of our services when you purchase your banners from us. If in the Bogalusa or Pine areas we will hang your banners also at no extra charge when buying two or more banners from us for your event. BOGALUSA- Christmas In The Park 2022- Admission is $5.00 for adults, $1.00 for students, $10.00 a car for drive thru. Days: November 24-27, December 2-4, December 9-11, December 16-26. (Includes Christmas Eve & Day). Hours: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Walk Thur is 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. * Note: In event of rain Walk Thru will Change to Drive Thur Only. 

 

BOGALUSA EVENTS: 

 

  NOTE NEW DATE! Sunday, November 27th @ 5 p.m. is when the Bogalusa Lighted Christmas Parade will roll. Line up takes place at 4 p.m. in fron the First Bank on Columbia St in Bogalusa. Free,no charge. If you have music it must be Christmas Music only! Please decorate all vehicles with Christmas decor and lights.Free admission, no charge.

Christmas On Avenue B will be on Saturday, December 3,2022 from 5:30 p.m. till p.m. on Avenue B near the YMCA. Free Admission. Lots of family friendly things to do.

PLAINVIEW:

Saturday, December 3 rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. is the Live Drive thru Nativity Scene at Plainviw Baptist Church on Hwy.60. Free admission. 

ANGIE:

Angie Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 3 rd and will roll at 10:30, line up at 10 a.m. Motorcycles, ATVS, Cars and Trucks are all welcomed. Lineup will take place at the Old Hickory Resturant. 

VARNADO:

 

Varnado Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 3 rd and will roll at 1 p.m.  Motorcycles, ATVS, Cars and Trucks are all welcomed. Lineup will take place at the Old Hickory Resturant. Entry fee is $ 10 and will go to area needy people.   

 

PINE:

Saturday, December 10,2022 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. will be the 5th Annual Heart of Pine Christmas Festival & Parade in Pine, LA. Vendor booths and food will be for sale. Parade will roll at 5:30 p.m. Free admission to festival.

Franklinton Christmas Festival Lighted Parade


Sat, December 3, 6pm – 9pm
 
The Memory Trees and lighted Christmas parade begins at 6pm and has become a popular addition to the annual Mile Branch Pioneer Christmas and Varnado Store Museum Christmas Festival, both which are held on the Washington Parish Fairgrounds. The lighted Christmas parade begins at the eastern edge of town and ends at the fairgrounds after parading through downtown. All these events, each organized by volunteers making Franklinton a must-see destination the first weekend of December!Nativity Scene will take Visitors through the Christmas Story.
 
Sheridan:

Jingle Paws 2022 will be held on Saturday, November 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Washington Parish Animal Shelter on Hwy. 10 in Sheridan like going to Franklinton. 

Mount Hermon:
